BIST 100 Closes Flat
After opening the session at 14,158.97 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained zero points relative to Thursday's closing figure.
During the trading day, the benchmark reached a low of 14,109.21 and climbed to a peak of 14,320.87.
The overall capitalization of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 14 trillion Turkish liras ($321.7 billion), while the total transaction volume amounted to 223 billion liras ($5.1 billion).
Out of all listed shares on the index, 63 advanced and 35 declined compared with the previous session’s close.
Gold was valued at $5,008.60 per ounce, whereas Brent crude oil traded at $67.2 per barrel as of 6.45 pm local time (1545GMT).
In currency markets, the US dollar/Turkish lira rate stood at 43.7395, the euro/Turkish lira rate reached 51.8830, and the British pound exchanged hands at 59.6050 liras.
